Epiphany Marketing on Faith Life Now

Epiphany Marketing got a little attention thanks to Gary & Drenda Keesee from Faith Life Now. I was privileged to have the opportunity to join Gary & Drenda for an episode of their television broadcast so we could talk about business.

We talked mostly about the overwhelming opportunity in today’s economy. Anyone hoping to start a business may find this climate more conducive than ever to launching new business ideas. It’s more cost effective than ever before to spread the word about what you do, and the rapidly-changing marketplace highly favors anyone who has a desire to solve problems.

If you’d like to check it out, you can head over to FaithLifeNow.com and watch the episode on their website. Don’t know how long it will be posted, so do it right away! There’s also a great deal on our Kingdom Thoughts audio series.

Not only are Gary & Drenda wonderful human beings, but they have an incredible staff. It was truly a pleasure to be a part of this episode, and I’m looking forward to being with them again in the future!

Marketing in the New Economy

Quick note: after listening to the needs of a lot of people who own and work for small businesses, I’ve decided that — once we get through the holiday season — it’s time to start a movement.

I’m so passionate about helping people leverage 21st-Century technologies and adapt to the new environment, that I’ve been busy cooking up some new plans for the new year.

Lose Weight by Eating More Doughnuts

I seem to recall some wise person telling me as a child:

If it sounds too good to be true, it is.

Maybe our “bailouts” and “economic stimulus” ideas don’t sound very good to you… but the whole thing reminds me of an adage that I have come to believe after years of working to master personal finances:

You can’t borrow your way out of debt.

-David G. Johnson

And you can quote me on that.

All of this wise thinking today is inspired by Fred Thompson:

Ever wondered what a “Credit Default Swap” is? Clark & Dawes from Australia explain… I guess they gave up on trying to do President Bush’s accent.

A Laughable Economic Situation

Here’s a remarkably simple analysis of how things got to where they are… from a pair of British comics.

As this was produced in 2007, it’s become remarkably prophetic!
